Jammu and Kashmir is a Union Territory located in the northern part of India. It was once a state, but on 5 August 2019, the special status of the state was revoked by the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India and was later divided into two Union Territories:
Jammu and Kashmir – which contains Srinagar (the summer capital) and Jammu (the winter capital).
Ladakh – which has become a separate Union Territory, which includes Leh and Kargil.
